This website is operated for Tough It Out Tattoo, with studios at 3016 Belvidere Rd, Waukegan, IL 60085 and 54 N Western Ave, Carpentersville, IL 60110. By using this site you agree to these terms.
Contact and communications
When you submit a form on this site — a tattoo enquiry, a consultation request or a job application — you are asking us to contact you about it, and you consent to us doing so using the details you provide: by phone, by email, and, where you have entered a mobile number, by text message. Entering your mobile number on any form on this site is your opt-in to texts from Tough It Out Tattoo. Message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies, and you can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. Opting out of texts does not cancel any appointment you have booked; call the shop for that.
Appointments and deposits
Quotes given through this site or over the phone are estimates until confirmed by your artist. A deposit may be required to hold an appointment; your artist confirms the amount when you book. Deposits are applied to the final price of the tattoo and are not forfeited when reasonable notice is given to reschedule.
Age requirement
You must be 18 years of age or older with valid government-issued photo ID to be tattooed at either studio. There are no exceptions to this in the State of Illinois.
Content and portfolio
The tattoo photography, artwork, logo and text on this site belong to Tough It Out Tattoo and its artists. You may not reproduce them commercially without written permission. Client reviews shown on this site are genuine Google reviews reproduced verbatim.

The information on this site — including aftercare guidance — is general in nature and is not medical advice. Follow the specific instructions your artist gives you, and consult a medical professional about any concern with healing skin. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from use of this website itself.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
